Ø Municipal Court has been CANCELLED for April.  

Ø The Family Y has been closed.

Ø Wrens Dixie Youth Baseball has cancelled all practices and games at the Y Recreation fields until further notice.

Ø The Rabun Center community house will not be available for rent until further notice.

Ø The playground and pavilion at the walking track will be closed until further notice.

The guidance we are receiving from all sources informs us that the most effective way to curb the spread of COVID-19 is for community members to practice social distancing and remain at home as much as possible.

On behalf of the City Council and staff, I am pleased to welcome you to the City of Wrens website. Our goal is to provide a website with easy access to information on city services and events of interest to the citizens we serve.

Wrens is a small town with a population of approximately 2,500 people, located on Hwy 1, about 30 miles south of Augusta, GA. We are a vibrant community with friendly people and wonderful businesses; and we work hard to provide quality services to our citizens, as well as develop capacity for new residents and businesses. We have lovely residential neighborhoods and great locally owned restaurants and shops to visit. We also have a nice park with a pavilion and a walking track.

The City of Wrens employees are dedicated to providing the services and protection to the citizens that live here and visit each day. It is our hope that this website provides you with information you need, however, we have a staff that is committed to assisting you with your concerns and specific needs.
